Would you believe we have collected an entire 40ft. truck of beautifully crated crutches, walkers and wheelchairs?!? Thanks to all of you who took the time to deliver what you had to one of our drop-off locations. Your response was AMAZING! We never dreamed it would become so HUGE.

PS/ PLEASE let me know via email if you plan to contribute so I can call it quits as soon as I have what we need. The last thing I need is more money than I know what to do with! Crutches are one thing...money is another!
i have 3 pairs of crutches and a walker. is there a drop off in southern california?
ReplyDeleteTo Kristin: I don't have a drop in California. So sorry! I hope you can find another way to help!
ReplyDeleteDr. Egan thanks for all that you are doing fot the people of Haiti. My mother-in-law LaRae Gourley recently donated several used artificial legs of her late husband Carlyle Gourley. Our family would be interested to know if these legs were helpful and if they were able to be adapted for patients in Haiti. Over the years Carlyle would have to have new legs built as his leg changed...as you know they are very expensive to build and LaRae was thrilled to be able to donate them to your cause...please update me if on their use....thanks again for your dedication and sacrifice in helping the people of Haiti.

I found a pair of crutches in my basement. Can I still drop off in Davis county now that it is past 1/29 or do I need to take them out to Sandy. I live in Bountiful.
ReplyDeleteI'm interested in going to Haiti to help somehow within the next year. What do I need to do? Who can I hook up with? I have applied for a passport. I am in North Carolina. I am in healthcare, but not a MD or RN. drebold@yahoo dot com
